Sunday is my first Marathon, the London Marathon. I am sure it is going to hurt on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday... I was lucky enough to get a ballot ticket but wanted to raise money for a good cause, so I chose the MS Trust. The reason being that a good friend of mine (Rob Dobson) was diagnosed with MS nearly 9 yrs ago. He has managed to keep going, including fathering a lovely son, but as the disease progresses he is now really struggling, even to walk. Unfortunately to make matters worse, his fiancee was also diagnosed with it over this Christmas period.
