Sunday morning and time to reflect on the past two days of fun and frolics. Up at some silly bloody time on Friday morning to travel down to Leeds champ show and the first shock of the day was getting out of the van at Scotch Corner with the shorts and strappy top on to be hit with bloody freezing rain! However thankfully the sun came out to play and my god was it hot. Murrun did me proud with her 2nd in her first Junior class and big T was reserve in Open. Star of Fridays trip was Jans Topper winning a lovely class and looking stunning in the dog challenge. We then high tailed it home and after a couple hours kip we did it all again yesterday to travel down to Stonleigh to GRC champ show. Phew another blistering day, with a great atmosphere and lots of laughs and fun with friends from home and abroad, yummiest scones and clotted cream n jam (thanks girls & Garry). Reverse fortunes today for me, Murrun should have been left at home but big T surpassed my expectations as Ive been cheeping on about him losing his coat. Huge thanks to Wendy Andrews for appreciating my lovely boy and giving him the gundog class and delighting me by awarding him the reserve ticket behind his buddy Bentley in what was a cracking lineup. Thanks to Maureen McKenna, the referee, for giving him the nod for Reserve Best In Show. Somehow the long journey home became less of a chore. Thanks to my travelling companion Jan, we didnt eat too much rubbish I think!! Just off out to walk the furries as the rain is due to arrive soon x
