Sunday will be orphan donuts only.........and Breakfast. Due to the horrific weather Saturday and an equally dismal forecast for Sunday, we will not be making fresh donuts Sunday. The display case is full and we will be selling dozens for $6 and Half dozens for $3. Individual donuts are all fifty cents. I strolled in at 4:00 a.m. to get breakfast ready. The roads are bad. So far, the only cars to go by, threw newspapers at the door like drive-by shootings, barely slowing down to see if they hit their target. This is a spooky quiet place on nights like this. I have my radio on, but, I find myself hearing strange things as construction debris settles throughout the building, down the walls and onto the ceiling tiles. The same noises we had when we lived here before, but then it was pigeons and raccoons inhabiting the upper floors. Well, biscuits are going into the oven and gravy is on so I suppose well be opened soon. Be advised, we may be out of some breakfast items, but we have plenty of the basics to get us through. Please be careful if you have to venture out and of course, Have A Daybreak Day!
