#Sunderland Traffic: Good morning! Temporary traffic lights on A183 at various points between St Peters Way & the Sunderland/South Tyneside city boundary for highway improvement works. Work starts 02/12/13 and finishes 02/05/14 between 09:00-16:00 only. Moderate delays expected when work is taking place. Temporary traffic lights replace permanent traffic signals currently on A183 St Marys Way / Cumberland St junction in Sunderland from 03/02/14 to 01/10/14. There is no Right Turn exiting the St Marys Car Park. Delays possible. Temporary traffic lights on A183 Chester Road, Sunderland between Ettrick Grove & Barnard Street from 03/03/14 to 03/05/14 all day for gas works. Expect moderate delays. Road restricted on Green Terrace, Sunderland city centre to one way northbound from 14/04/14 to 23/06/14 to allow for highway improvement works. The direction of travel may change during the works. Traffic lights out on A690 Durham Road / A19 Herrington Interchange due to a traffic signal power cable fault. Heavy traffic currently on A19 exit slip roads.
