Sunnahs on Eid... * Bath * Good Clothes (Adorn men) * The Prophet pbuh Ate Dates before he left the house for offering the Eid Salaah Sahih Bukhari, Vol : 2, Book of Two eids, Hadith : 953 * Eid Salaah should be offer in Musalla (Eid Gah) * The Prophet pbuh said " Praying in my Mosque (Masjide Nabwi) is better than offering 1000 Times anywhere else exceptMasjide haram (Mecca) " , But yet for Eid Salaah Prophet pbuh preferred leaving his own Mosqueand going to the Musalla (Eid Gah) * The Prophet pbuh returned back in a way different from the way he had gone Sahih Bukhari, Vol : 2, Book of Two Eids, Hadith 986 * Prophet pbuh used to recite " Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar La ilaaha illalahu Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar waillahil hamd means Allah is Greatest and There is no God but Allah and Allpraises is to Allah " immediately after leaving home till the time he reached Musalla (Eid Gah) and till the time he finished Salaah..
