Super Typhoon Neoguri (08W) in the NW Pacific Ocean is approximately 246 NM south-southwest of Kadena AFB, Okinawa, Japan. Maximum sustained surface winds at the time warning #19 are estimated at 130 knots with gusts to near 160 knots. The JTWC forecast shows this very dangerous super typhoon reaching 140 knots of sustained winds within 24 hours with gusts to near 170 knots. There are two area of disturbed weather in the northeastern Pacific Ocean. The first is being given a low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone, while the other has a medium chance of developing.
