Super proud of my kiddos today! They rode the bus home for the first time. Yay! We were nervous about how they would do especially since Draimans first experience on a bus last school year was awful and we had to remove him. We thought Gatlin would do fine and we were hoping that would help Draiman. I went to the school and stayed hidden in the office while they were put on the bus. After, the teachers came in and said they did great getting on the bus. They said Draiman resisted slightly but there were no tears at all. So we all stood in the office with the principal anxiously waiting for the bus to pull away. Once it left our principal Tanya gave me a high five and we all cheered in excitement. ( I love this school! ) Then I had to come home and wait. After a while I got a phone call and thought oh no there are problems now. That wasnt the case though. The bus driver was just calling to say she could be here earlier than scheduled. :) I met them at the stop and she said they did great. I am so happy they did so well on their first ride home.
