Superfood Im loving lately: Coconut Oil/Coconut Butter. Im in the middle of a detox which includes fats (olive oil, coconut oil, avocados, olives, ghee) so Ive been using lots of coconut oil. Its amazing for hormone health as it provides building blocks for hormones. It can also help with sugar cravings, reduce inflammation, and has anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties, which can help your gut health. Ive been using coconut oil to roast veggies or pan-fry salmon and have been putting coconut butter in to my smoothies to make them creamy and satisfying (use avocado to make it REALLY creamy, like ice cream. yum.). You can even blend it into coffee!
