Supper and a Scream - Vegan Chilli - Movie Selection - The Wicker Man (1973) Ingredients: 2 tomatoes 1 sweet onion 1 can of tomato paste Braggs Liquid Aminos Beyond Meat Beef Crumble 2 carrots 2 celery stalks 3 cloves of garlic Sriracha Pepperoncinis Orringtons Farms Vegan Beef Broth Base Salt and Pepper Oregano Basil ½ cup of red kidney beans ½ cup of black beans 2 cups of lentils (red lentils) Instructions: 1. Soak ½ cup of dried red kidney beans and ½ cup of dried black beans overnight. Fast Method: Boil ½ cup of dried red kidney beans and ½ cup of dried black beans in 8 cups of water in a sauce pan. Cover with a lid for 5 minutes. Place the covered beans in water and let it soak in the hot water for 1 hour. Once the soak is done place the beans in a colander and rinse. Boil the beans yet again after the hour soak for 50-55 minutes with 6-8 cups of water. Place the finished beans in the colander and set aside. 2. Clean and sift through 2 cups of lentils. Boil/Cover the lentils in 6 cups of water for 20 minutes. Add an additional ½ to 1 cup of water for personal consistency. 3. Chop 2 stalks of celery. Chop 2 carrots. Chop 1 sweet onion. Chop 3 cloves of garlic. Chop 2 tomatoes. Dash of oregano and basil. Add the vegetables after the lentils are finished. 4. Add one whole can of tomato paste (no salt preferred) 5. Add 3 cups of Orrington Farms Vegan Beef Broth Base & Seasoning. (2 teaspoons per cup of broth) Add 3 teaspoons of Braggs Liquid Aminos Add 3 tablespoons of Red Star Nutritional Yeast Add 1 and ½ cup of Beyond Meat Beef Crumble Add salt, pepper for taste. Add as much or little sriracha and cut pepperoncinis to add flavored heat. Stir ingredients. 6. Cover saucepan on low flame for 20 minutes. Stir on occasion. Add crackers or rice and serve.
