Supplement Tip of the Day: When choosing a brand of protein shake to go with people generally turn the tub around to check out the ingredients list to help make their decision. One common mistake I noticed thougout time in the industry was that people often went for the one with the most protein in per serving without taking into account how big the overall serving was. For example one protein shake might be a serving of 25 grams and 20 grams of that is protein whereas another shake might have 30 grams of protein in 50 gram serving. This means you are having to take a serving double the size and therefore it will last you half the time. The best way to pick and compare protein shakes is to look at the ingredient list per 100 grams. This allows you to compare on a level playing field as you can always adjust the serving size to your own requirements.
