They went as far as comparing the Boston bombing where locals showed over whelming support for their security agencies with situations in northern Nigeria. We reminded these persons that lack of trust in the operations and activities of the Nigeria SSS, Police etc was why the people were wary of risking their lives and that of their families to attempt to pass on information. We have seen that with a better approach by the Nigerian Army in tackling the devilish sect, the people’s confidence is being restored, hence the support they are receiving from the locals.
