Support Right to Recall Group Post By Rahul Chimanbhai Mehta , Right to Recall Group The Delhi-Agra semi-high-speed train proves that we DONT need FDI in railways --- we ONLY need more tracks. . The existing Delhi-Agra Shatabdi train #12001 covers 200 km distance between Agra-Delhi in 120 minutes = 2 hours , average speed of 100 kmhr . Please see railways website. The new train whose trial run is being done today will do so in 90 minutes = 1.5 hours ,. average speed of 135 kmhr . The existing Shatabdi and new Shatabdi train use foreign made engines, But coaches are made in India and all tracks are made by and maintained by Indian staff. So forex burden is only engine and not whole train or tracks. . This proves that if more tracks are laid between Mumbai-Ahmedabad, and if tracks are straightened using land acquisition and laying straight tracks, then 120 kmhr train between Mumbai-Ahmedabad is possible today, And that will finish the journey in 4.5 hours. Now proposed Japanese bullet train can finish journey in 2.5 hours and so it will be indeed better. That train too will need new tracks, so cost of acquiring land remains same. But the proposed Japanese bullet train will have whole train made in Japan, and tracks will be laid by Japanese too. And profits made will have to be repatriated in dollars !! THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT PART THAT SoNaKe and SoNaKe-ANDHBHAGATS ARE HIDING -------- THAT GOI WILL HAVE TO PAY DOLLARS FOR PROFITS MADE BY JAPANESE BULLET TRAIN COMPANY. . Whereas a 100% Indian train only slightly bad option, and creates no forex burden !!. . So IMO, we should confine to new tracks, and not have any FDI in railways. . Now we MUST eventually have a 2.5 hr train from Ahmedabad-Mumbai. But that should be 100% made in India. It is possible using RTR Railway Minister, Jury Sys over Railway staff, RTR over all apex positions in Govt, Jury Sys on labor all taxation disputes, and wealth tax. . Solution I propose is ---- please order YOUR MP via SMS to cancel FDI in railways. . And please inform all that decision of SoNaKe, SoNake-andhbhagats, RSS-workers, BST-workers in supporting 100% FDI in railway is wrong, and is anti-national. . -Rahul Chimanbhai Mehta , Right to recall Group
