Supporters of the use of animals in circuses in Ireland seem to have found a bizarre loop hole to justify this out-dated practice. They are justifying the continued use of animals as being part of classical circus and so having cultural and artistic importance. If this kind of reasoning had been around in the American south then slavery might have been protected as a cultural practice as well. Instead of clinging to dead ideas that belong in the miserable past, lets try to Evolve instead!
