Surat An-Naba (The Tidings) - سورة النبإ Enlarge Text Shrink Text بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 78;1 About what are they asking one another? Portuguese Acerca de quê se interrogam? 78:2 About the great news - Portuguese Acerca da grande notícia, 78:3 That over which they are in disagreement. Portuguese A respeito da qual discordam. 78:4 No! They are going to know. Portuguese Sim, logo saberão! 78:5 Then, no! They are going to know. Portuguese Sim, realmente, logo saberão! 78:6 Have We not made the earth a resting place? Portuguese Acaso, não fizemos da terra um leito, 78:7 And the mountains as stakes? Portuguese E das montanhas, estacas? 78:8 And We created you in pairs Portuguese E não vos criamos, acaso, em casais, 78:9 And made your sleep [a means for] rest Portuguese Nem fizemos o vosso sono, para o descanso, 78:10 And made the night as clothing Portuguese Nem fizemos a noite, como um manto, 78:11 And made the day for livelihood Portuguese Nem fizemos o dia, para ganhardes o sustento? 78:12 And constructed above you seven strong [heavens] Portuguese E não construímos, por cima de vós, os sete firmamentos? 78:13 And made [therein] a burning lamp Portuguese Nem colocamos neles um esplendoroso lustre? 78:14 And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water Portuguese Nem enviamos, das nuvens, copiosa chuva, 78:15 That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation Portuguese Para produzir, por meio desta, o grão e as plantas, 78:16 And gardens of entwined growth. Portuguese E frondosos vergéis? 78:17 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time - Portuguese Sabei que o Dia da Discriminação está com a hora fixada. 78:18 The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes Portuguese Será o dia em que a trombeta soará e em que comparecereis em grupos, 78:19 And the heaven is OPENED and will become gateways Portuguese E se abrirá o céu, e terá muitas portas. 78:20 And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage. Portuguese E as montanhas serão dispersadas, parecendo uma miragem. 78:21 Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait Portuguese Em verdade, o inferno será uma emboscada, 78:22 For the transgressors, a place of return, Portuguese Morada para os transgressores, 78:23 In which they will remain for ages [unending]. Portuguese Onde permanecerão, por tempo ininterrupto. 78:24 They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink Portuguese Em que não provarão do frescor, nem de (qualquer) bebida, 78:25 Except scalding water and [foul] purulence - Portuguese A não ser água fervente e uma paralisante beberagem, gelada, 78:26 An appropriate recompense. Portuguese Como castigo adequado (pelos seus feitos malignos), 78:27 Indeed, they were not expecting an account Portuguese Porque nunca temeram o cômputo, 78:28 And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial. Portuguese E desmentiram, descarada e veementemente, os Nossos versículos. 78:29 But all things We have enumerated in writing. Portuguese Mas anotamos tudo, me registro. 78:30 So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment. Portuguese Sofrei, pois, conquanto nada vos proporcionaremos, senão castigo. 78:31 Indeed, for the righteous is attainment - Portuguese Por outra, os tementes obterão a recompensa, 78:32 Gardens and grapevines Portuguese Jardins e videiras, 78:33 And full-breasted [companions] of equal age Portuguese E donzelas, da mesma idade, por companheiras, 78:34 And a full cup. Portuguese E taças transbordantes, 78:35 Sahih International No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood - Portuguese Onde não escutarão veleidades nem mentidas. 78:36 [As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account, Portuguese Com efeito, receberão a recompensa do teu Senhor, que será uma paga suficiente, 78:37 [From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech. Portuguese (Do) Senhor dos céus e da terra e de tudo quanto existe entre ambos, o Clemente com Quem ninguém pode dialogar. 78:38 The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct. Portuguese No dia em que comparecerem o Espírito e os anjos enfileirados, ninguém poderá falar, salvo aquele a quem o Clemente o permitir; e falará a verdade. 78:39 That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return. Portuguese Tal será o dia infalível; quem quiser, pois, poderá encaminhar-se para o seu Senhor!
