Surely our hearts are still with Arnold Abbott and his situation - TopicsExpress

Surely our hearts are still with Arnold Abbott and his situation down in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida... Well I recd this from a FB friend who is following through with holding the Ft Lauderdale Mayor responsible for his actions against Mr Abbott for trying to serve food to the homeless. Thank you Charlie for keeping the Mayors feet to the fire. Charlie T***: I just sent this to the Mayor or Ft Lauderdale.... Jack, I dont believe you because you are a politician and all politicians are liars - maybe JFK was not but he is long gone. Your actions toward one old man and the people he sought to help were reprehensible and could have been handled much better. I work in a nursing home and if I had done what you did I would expect to be in prison now, you deprived veterans of care and food. This is the most deplorable act of abuse and you did it. You cannot argue your way out of this - you did it. I can see that there may have been some DIA and sanitary regulations that were not complied with, I deal with regulations all of the time at work and it is not easy, but lets say we were driving around and ordered a burger that made us both sick and you were the one who paid for it would that make you liable for my illness just because you provided it? After all it was my choice to eat it and you would argue that in court, right? So Jack, sweat it out, you pushed things too far and you know it, and you have made MANY adversaries as you should. I asked my friend Charlie if I could share this here with Anonymous - #OpHumanity and the following is his reply. Charlie T***: Post it wherever and quote me... Jack needs to be put in place and to back off veterans caring for homeless, it is shameful that he cannot do both and that he is willing to risk Florida tourism just to be an asshole. Having said that the so called Police Officers should also be resisting this bullshit.
