Surprisingly when I started dancing to Michael Jackson’s music I was 14 and I was not a huge fan of the artist. I liked his work, always loved that Smooth Criminal music video and that famous Thriller’s scary scenery. But why? Why did I start dancing to Michael Jackson’s music anyway? I didn’t know much about him, and I was totally ignorant about many stories that surrounded the artist. Basically when Michael Jackson died, on June 25th, I was about to buy my first ever electric guitar. I was going through a moment in my life where most of the music I used to listen was heavy metal, Death Metal, or just Rock. I never liked Pop music, in fact, I would make fun of pop music some times. But something told me that day that MJ was not only Pop, boring regular commercial music. I listened to the guitar at Beat it and fell in Love with the song. So the day after MJ’s death I decided to buy the guitar and as soon as possible learn how to play Beat it on it and record it to YouTube as a tribute to the King of Pop. And I did it. It was tough to learn it since I was totally a beginner on the guitar and had basically no clue on what I was doing.
