Surveillance Operation Leads to Three Arrests in Two Separate Incidents December 5, 2014 Lincolnton, NC – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics investigators arrested three people Thursday in two separate incidents during a surveillance operation south of Lincolnton. Around 12:45 p.m. Thursday narcotics investigators were conducting an undercover operation near the Dollar General store in High Shoals and completed a hand to hand drug transaction with the suspects. Tina Marie Brown, 46, and Christel Gantt Camp, 41 both of 1256 Union Church Road, Gastonia, NC were taken into custody during an incident in the parking lot of Dollar General in High Shoals. Both were charged with Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver a Controlled Substance Schedule II, Sell and Deliver Schedule II and Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver. In addition, Camp was charged with Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance. All charges are felonies. Brown was placed in the Lincoln County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond while bond for Camp was set at $10,000 secured. Then around 6:00 p.m. while investigators were continuing their surveillance operation at several locations in the county they observed a suspicious vehicle pull into the parking lot of the Dollar General store in High Shoals. Investigators had received information that the suspect, Kareem Jamar Moore, 33, of 1702 Northwoods Drive, Kings Mountain, NC would be transporting cocaine to the Lincoln County area. The suspect did not exit the vehicle but remained on a cell phone while looking around the parking lot. As the suspect left the parking lot investigators pulled in behind the vehicle and attempted to stop the suspect with blue lights and siren when they observed the driver throw a bag of white substance out of the window. One of the trailing undercover vehicles stopped and secured the bag of white powder, which turned out to be crack cocaine, while another chased the vehicle south on Highway 321 into Gaston County where it was stopped near the Hardin exit. Kareem Jamar Moore was taken into custody without further incident. Moore is charged with two felony counts of Trafficking in Cocaine and one felony count each of Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance and Speeding to Elude an Arrest. He was also charged with one misdemeanor count each of Littering and Resist, Delay and Obstruct a Public Officer. He was placed in the Lincoln County Detention Center under a $40,000 secured bond.
