Sushma Swaraj doles out developmental agenda of BJP in Kalka Kalka October 4, 2014 The senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj addressed her first poll-rally in Kalka today in the support of the party’s candidate Latika Sharma. The minister who belongs to Haryana had to addresses four rallies in the state including Thanachhapar, Shahbad and Gohana too. Addressing the large gathering at Kalka, Sushma Swaraj said, “ This is my first rally in Haryana Assembly Elections-2014 and I am sure that people of Kalka will support the party’s candidate Latika Sharma and vote for her on October 15. The party has chosen her because she always stays ready to serve the people. She has the sensitivity to solve the problems of localites here. The Haryana Assembly Elections 2014 are going to be very different for us because the BJP will contest on its own in the battlefield without compromising with any other party this time. The party has fought elections in Haryana in alliance with one or another party till date. I want to remind all of you that the party had set the target of 272 plus seats in the Lok Sabha Elections which was achieved comfortably. In Haryana, we have set the target of 50 plus seats and this too will be crossed with the support of common man”. Listing out the agenda for the development of Haryana, Sushma Swaraj announced, “ If the BJP comes into the power then senior citizens of the state will receive the pension of Rs 2,000 per month. Besides, an innovative scheme of free pilgrimage will be started for them on the lines of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. To make our youth employable, they would be given special training in given handicrafts. To support the educated unemployed youth, we will provide the gratuity of Rs 6,000 to XII pass candidates and Rs 9,000 to BA pass aspirants. Apart from this, the number of women in Police force will be doubled. To encourage the girls to come to school, free bus passes will be issued and a special security guard will be employed in all the busses for their safety. The party will also provide houses to homeless widows and will give monetary help to build the houses”. She also listed out the agenda to encourage the youth to take up sports and talked about the doubling the production of milk. Speaking on the occasion, the BJP’s candidate Latika Sharma, for Kalka for Haryana Assembly Elections 2014 apprised the gathering of the ongoing problems of her constituency. Highlighting her vision for Kalka she said, “This area has been neglected in the past and successive governments have failed repeatedly in bringing any development here. Kalka should get special tax-concession package like Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir to boost the industry. The oldest tractor manufacturing company HMT is on the verge of closure and its employees have not received the salaries from the past one year. I will fight for the revival package of Rs 100 cr. for the company. Besides, Pinjore should be declared a popular tourists’ destination. The major problems of people like shortage of electricity and water will be resolved. Moreover, the town should have a hospital of 500 beds. To support the youth, the number of stadiums will be increased. Apart from this, Raipurani will get rid of flies”. Lambasting at Congress government Latika Sharma said, “The BJP’s wave under the visionary leadership of country’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is unstoppable which have sent shockwaves in other parties who are scared of losing and are banking on money power now”. At this massive rally, the BJP State President, Chandigarh, Sanjay Tandon, former MP, Chandigarh, Satya Pal Jain, Senior deputy Mayor, Heera Negi, Deputy Mayor, Devesh Moudgil, and other party supports including Dilbag Singh, Ajay Mittal, Krishan Dhall, Ritu Sethi, Gaytri Kapoor, Kalpana Gautam were also present on the occasion.
