She continues to rise in the corporate world: Personnel Announcement Melissa Salloum to Assume Global Planning / Asset Strategy Implementation Manager Role for ANGUS Chemical Company I am pleased to announce that Melissa Salloum has accepted the role of Global Planning / Asset Strategy Implementation Manager for ANGUS Chemical Company (ANGUS). Prior to joining ANGUS, Melissa held a variety of roles within Dow Microbial Control Business Operations in functional disciplines including manufacturing, quality and supply chain. Most recently, Melissa was the Global Planner for Glutaraldehyde. In her new role, she will be reporting to Bryan Kitchen, Global Business Operations Director for ANGUS Chemical Company. Transition activities are targeted to commence in September, with Melissa officially joining ANGUS in October 2014. In her leadership role, Melissa’s chief responsibility is to help ANGUS maximize profitability by translating our asset strategy into operational plans on a global basis. These operational plans include not only production but also finished good deployment to our warehouses/terminals. For existing products and new technology platforms, Melissa will decide “what to make,” “when to make it” and “where to make it.” She will lead the development and implementation of cross-functional supply strategies designed to enable accelerated growth, improve agility and resiliency, deliver improved service and EBITDA expansion. Melissa will be based at the ANGUS headquarters in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, USA. Melissa joined Rohm and Haas in 2005 in a manufacturing role. Since that time, she has held a variety of roles spanning across functional disciplines. Melissa attended The University of Michigan, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. Please join me in welcoming Melissa to her new role.
