Suunto EON Steel, a new generation of dive computing Today is an important and long awaited day for Suunto Diving and Divers of the Dark team: The launch of the next generation dive computer Suunto EON Steel. Our group has been involved in the project since the very beginning, from beta interface testing to ongoing field tests of coming updates. However, biggest involvement for us has been in producing the images and marketing material for the Suunto EON marketing campaign. We have been filming and photographing EON Steel over a period of two years in Orda cave in Russia, Lofoten islands and Strömsholmen in Norways Atlantic coast, Plura cave in Northern Norway and as latest destination, in Adriatic Sea and caves of Croatia. It is easy to recommend this product. Suunto has been very responsive for the feedback. The unit and its capabilities have been tested thoroughly. Trust me, we have been giving our EON Steels very hard time. Best of all, the computer is self upgradable and it will have full CCR update next year. For more information visit suunto.
