Swachch Bharat Abhiyan – Swastha Bharat Abhiyan held at Kimin KIMIN, SEPT, 30TH The State President, BJP, Tai Tagak accompanied by state Vice President, Techi Necha, State Secretary, Hinium Tachu, State Convener, Media Cell, Nabam Mavan besides senior leaders, Shri Vijay Sonam, former Zilla Parishad Chairperson, Tana Hali, former Secretary, APCC, Teli Maj joined the SBA-SBA at Kimin today. SBA -SBA was launched by Tai Tagak at Kimin, being one of the oldest administrative circles of the state from the NEFA days and as part of the state BJP’s JAN SAMPARK and SWASTH BHARAT ABHIYAN launched at Roing on September 25th, the auspicious occasion of the 98th Birth anniversary of party ideologue and source of inspiration, pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya. The SAFAI Abhiyan today was organized by the BJP 14-Doimukh Mandal Committee led by Mandal Presidents – Tadar Takio and Ngurang Tayu. During the day long SAFAI ABHIYAN, Kimin PHC, Kimin Market Area and Kimin check post market were cleaned with garbage disposed off through tracker deployed on the spot which was also actively participated by the locals and BJP Booth level workers. On the occasion the State President, Tai Tagak hailed the efforts of the Mandal BJP Committee and called for mass movement on the cleanliness drive and the need of systematic garbage disposal management, which would reduce day to day health problems and minimize burden of expenditures in the medical treatments. “We should advocate haphazard throwing wastes for plastic materials of packet food items and ensure proper and hygienic source of potable drinking waters which would give relief for most of the common medical problems we are unnecessarily burdened for our carelessness and also affects due to our fast changing life style causing innumerable loss of lives”, said Tagak. He advocated the need of reaching out to every booth/villages and generates awareness and sensitize about preventive health care and societies participation of clean India drive during the week long “JAN SWACHCHTHA ABHIYAN to be launched in the state on October 02 from Ziro in Lower Subansiri, which would stretch until October 11, birth anniversary of Jai Prakash Narayan. During the day, the State President also addressed the Booth Committee meeting of Durpa – III and called for strengthening Booth Committees to actively participating in the various development programmes and welfare schemes. Later, the President was apprised about the inconveniences facing due to the existence of firing range of 10th BN ITPB in the premises of Durpa –I Village in Kimin, obstacles and restrictions besides insecurity for the village women due to this by the aggrieved villagers of Durpa-I village. On hearing this, the State BJP leaders visited the spot and said the grievances of the villagers has guts and the intervention of the state government is necessary for the well being of the villagers. It was also made known to the state President that Government Higher Secondary school, Kimin established in 1961 falls in the proposed land allotment of this firing range. When enquired from the villagers they are ready to provide alternate site at Lora village for the firing range which is also hardly 7 Kms from Kimin, which may be appropriate. “The State Government needs to re-think at least for the safety, security and harmonious living atmosphere for the villagers” Tagak said.
