Swanage Lifeboat Week kicked off last Friday and continues through the weekend. The RNLI are raising funds to build a new lifeboat station that will provide improved facilities and house a new Shannon class all-weather lifeboat. This week for Throwback Thursday we look back to 1992 when the last all-weather lifeboat, the Mersey class Robert Charles Brown, first arrived in Swanage. Has the RNLI touched your life in any way?
