Swansea are finally ready to sell their star player Michu if the right bid comes in their way. Reportedly, Liverpool are the favourites to sign the Spanish forward in the January transfer window Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins recently hinted that Michu may leave in the coming window if the bidders meet the club’s valuation of the player. It is believed that Swansea want a fee of around £30million for the 27 year old forward. If they manage to sell him for that price, it would be an instant profit for the Swans as they had bought Michu for just £2.2million from Rayo Vallecano. Even though Liverpool are considered as favourites to get his signature, there are other clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham are also in the race to sign the tall striker. Meanwhile, Michu got called up for the Spanish national side which may further increase his market value.
