Sweep around your own Front Door !!!!! Is it not amazing how Young Black men in this Country are the Targets of every person that can pull a trigger, Tie a Knot or Sharpen a Knife?? Think about it, Emmitt Till, The Scottsboro Boyz,Eric Garner, Civil rights activist Medgar Evers, Troy Davis, Saigon Penn, Sean Bell, Jimmie lee jackson, Dhoruba bin wahad, Louis Allen, Jordan Davis, Trayvon Martin,Mallice Green, Michael Brown, M.L.King Jr, Amadou Diallo, etc.....all have lost their lives because of someone elses insecurities or their cold and callous Ignorance.....A damn Shame but it has bloodied the Fabric of America, the Land of the Free, home of the Brave....Birthplace of the Have and Have Nots...but we still fail too sweep around our own Front Doors.....The L.a. Riots didnt teach you Nothing? What did Quik trip have to do with this Young Mans Murder ? Is this the Store the Police officer frequented to get his coffee and Donuts at ? Is this the Store he worked his off duty job at? Economic empowerment is simple: If it does not make dollars, Then it does not make sense.....We allow Ourselves to be misdirected. we are rioting at malls over Jordan no.#5 retros, we are destroying the only convenience store in our NHood, knowing damn well we or our Parents dont have the means of transportation to get to The Corporate Giant {Wal-Mart} Conveniently....We know these things before hand...but yet in still we act.....Sweep around your own Front Door. Again, Whos house did you all destroy after Hadiya Pendleton was Murdered ? who s house? whos business did you Destroy after Nike started selling these Retros that you all are rioting and looting stores for? What Neighborhood has caught hell after Another CHICAGO school kid has been killed coming home from school in the midst of a Gang War? and why does all the Gang War-fare take place mainly in the Projects ? A PLACE WHERE AINT NOBODY GOT NO MORE THAN THE OTHER, AND NEITHER OF US OWNS A DAMN BRICK ON THE BLDG ? But we part of a Gang...Well, lets do a Challenge: The get my own Shi# Challenge, and it has to be done legally..No dope selling, pimping, exploiting of any kind ( that was meant for the self ordained soon to be Pastors, Bishops, Apostles, evangelist etc...) and if i stepped on your toes with that one, move ya damn feet. Although these have been Tragic events, Sweep around your own Front Door. Start being involved in Police Review Boards, become Community activist, Stop worrying about whos Snitchin be aware of who isnt snitchin....Get some signage in your neighborhood stating we will CALL THE POLICE, AND THE JUSTICE DEPT,If you are the Police...We must teach our children a better way too get their point across other than Violence...and if you are really serious about Police brutality in your area, get all your Neighbors together, go down to the police station with the news media closely by your side ( cameras everywhere ) Demand to speak with the Governor, Mayor and City Manager.......And then pull off the seen from Do the right thing, Some body grab a Trash can and run to the front of the crowd and say; radioooooooo Raheeeeeem, and launch the Trash can onto the Lawn of the police dept.....make sure its empty, u dont want a littering ticket and get inside and end up beat to death..... Sweep around your own front door...
