Sweet 1 year old Roxy is in hot water tonight, this playful girl is living on a prayer unless you stand up to adopt her tonight. Roxy is available on the public risk list, you need to reserve her and bring her home for Thanksgiving. Give Roxy something she will be thankful for... her life. Save Roxy tonight! A volunteer writes: Roxy quiet in her arrival kennel but she wakes up as soon as she is out. She is a little skittish and quite hungry at the point she learned how to sit for the liver treats she loves. She is a friendly gal, a little tense, who needs comfort and takes refuge in my arms. She likes to be hugged and kissed. She is young and likes to play ball. She runs, jumps for it, catches it, carries it and teases it in all four corners of the pen. She seems to have a lot of fun. Roxy is not fond of the bow I placed around her neck but gets used to it after a while. She gets a little anxious when other dogs, a little too pushy and vocal come to sniff our pen. She will try to go for the leash when time has come to go back to her kennel. Distracting her with a toy or a treat does the trick. Although quite in a good physical shape, Roxy appears to have gone through some hard times and finding herself in a kennel in a strange environment must add to her ordeal.... She needs a little bit of time to settle down and hopefully be ready for a loving home.
