Sweet Love! Sweet Death! Oh, what queer sight my eyes to - TopicsExpress

Sweet Love! Sweet Death! Oh, what queer sight my eyes to see, Two lovely doves, springing in glee, In gusty South Easterly, they grew with me, Gliding in the fair skies, far from thee. In unison, swaying heads right to left, Flapping n’ folding, soft sensual melodious cleft, Then stupid cupids struck, foolish hearts met, So like damn’d Romeo and doom’d Juliet. Childish love weaned, melting sweet honey beau, But lovers’ curse burned, with passion anew, To chaste awakening, up n’ high they flew, In dreamers’ paradise, only the poet not knew. To unite sweet love, and steaming desire, Kissing blind sun, clipped wings soared higher, In love’s thirst, they embraced soothing fire, Farewell sweet Death, and unruly MAYA. By Kamal and Simran
