Sweet THELMA HAS QUITE A STORY TO TELL….Life wasnt always so kind to this sweet CALICO. WE RESCUED THELMA FROM A HOARDING CASE right here in Owensboro, KY…She was rescued along with about 20 other kitties…THELMA was infested with fleas, anemic, & in pretty poor health..We changed that…THELMA is a VERY HEALTHY GIRL NOW BUT SHE HAS BEEN WITH US FOR FOUR LONG YEARS WAITING FOR A HOME!!!!! She was very young when we rescued her…(only a year and a half) THELMA can be a shy girl, probably because she was among SO many in her tender years, and never got the right attention… Gentle and calm THELMA PROBABLY JUST WORRIED ABOUT HER SURVIVAL…SHE DIDNT KNOW REAL LOVE BEFORE…THELMA has certainly been loved here at OHS, but she lives with about 20 other cats and we know that she would just BLOSSOM if she was in a real home with only a few others at most….THELMA DESERVES TO FINALLY BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION AND TRULY CHERISHED IN HER OWN FAMILY…SHE HAS WAITED FOUR LONG YEARS FOR A HOME SHE CAN CALL HER OWN….ISNT THAT LONG ENOUGH FOR THIS SPECIAL KITTY??… THELMA responds beautifully when one person takes the time to pet her, love her, and make her feel safe…It will just take a little patience and love with this little girl….but we think the rewards will be great. THELMA is indeed a SWEET, GENTLE SOUL just WAITING TO FINALLY HAVE HER OWN HOME….I cant help but to see a touch of sadness in her eyes…I would LOVE to see a picture of her someday with her forever family… THELMA is such a BEAUTIFUL girl…I bet those eyes would just sparkle… ARE YOU THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE WHO CAN POSSIBLY MAKE THELMA TRULY HAPPY AND FEEL LOVED?? We really hope you are out there…..We sure love our THELMA and want the very best for her!
