Swing shift log: Traffic offense. Officer stopped a vehicle for no front license plate and the male was suspended for “Family Responsibility Act.” The male drive was cited and released. Found property at 821 N. Spokane Street “Public Library.” A spray painted bicycle was located in the bushes next to the library and had been there for approx. 1 week. The bike was a “Next” brand bike with no serial or city sticker on it. The handle bars were painted “Red” and the front forks “White.” Bike was placed into the barn for safe keeping. Traffic offense/Traffic hazard. An older truck was reported by several 911 callers as losing “logs” out the back of the truck on I-90. Apparently one of the logs actually struck a vehicle on I-90 causing damage. Several 911 callers tried to tell the male driver at the light about losing wood and he told them “F-You.” Officer Harrison located the vehicle in tried to lose him in a housing development but Officer Harrison found him again on 12th Ave. travelling west. Officer Harrison initiated a traffic stop and the male failed to yield for several blocks but stopped just prior to his residence on Lea Street. The male was suspended indefinitely for DWP and was arrested for it. ISP was going to handle the accident on I-90 which was caused by the unsecure load of wood. HW
