Sydney Tourism Employment Plan Workshops are being held 9-20 September 2013. The Australian Government Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism (RET) has contracted The Stafford Group to develop a Tourism Employment Plan (TEP) for Sydney with the support of NSW Trade and Investment and Destination NSW and is being driven by an industry-led Steering Committee. The TEP is across 16 local government areas (LGAs) in Sydney. Workshops are to be conducted in each of the 16 LGAs to enable local operators and interested parties to attend and discuss solutions to address employment gaps and up-skilling needs now and in the future.
