Sylvan Lake tri today was an interesting one. The swim was so shallow that we ran to the first buoy and just about the second. Swam to the third and walked the rest of way in. Also, made a rookie mistake of passing the first place guy with 500 m left rather than waiting and doing it in the last 50m. Got passed at the line after a shoulder to shoulder run all the way in and settled for second. :( All in all not a bad day at the races
