Sympathies We are saddened to hear of the passing of Whitecross native Francis Malone who passed away after a battle with illness last month. Francis or Francie as he is know has lived in Coventry, England since the 60s but was a regular visitor back home in Whitecross. He was uncle to Senior players Connor, Michael & Tomas Malone as well as Committee member Con Mcparland. Our condolences go out to Francies wife Mary & daughters Colette & Deirdre, his brothers and sisters Eileen, Marie, Jim & Packie, as well as the wider Malone family Circle. Francis was laid to rest in Coventry on Friday 3rd October. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
