Synopsis: At 4:00 a.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Surigao City (9.8°N, 125.8°E). Forecast: Visayas and the regions of Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, CARAGA and Davao will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region and the rest of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to northwest will prevail over MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
