Syracuse VAMC Volunteer, Keith Fannon, and his grandson joined more than 60 WW II, Korea and other era Veterans who took part in the third Mission of Syracuse Honor Flight on Saturday April 5th. The group departed the Syracuse Airport on a chartered US Airways flight and spent the day in Washington, DC. Syracuse is one of more than 100 established hubs in the national Honor Flight Network, a not-for-profit entity, created to honor Americas veterans for their sacrifices. Honor Flights mission is to fly Veterans to Washington, DC to visit and reflect together at their memorials.
