TAKE A BOW!! This is where Id like to take a bow for a job well done, BUT I cant because I know there are people who deserve the credit more than I do. They believed in the event and went all out to make it an amazing experience. Made my work a lot easier. I thank you!!!! If you come across any of these people, you better bow down! :) So this is going to be in several parts Heres goes Part 1. THE TEAM!!! I can confidently say that NO ONE has a better team than I had for SAWA SAWA KIZOMBA FESTIVAL!!! These are the people that made it happen and without them, Sawa Sawa wouldnt have been SAWA SAWA Kizomba Festival DC Thanks to Kevin Brown, Sami Selo Ahmed, for offering their time, cars, e.t.c. to pick up all the instructors at the airports (BWI, DCA & IAD), at different times and dropping them at the airports in time for their departur. You guys are the best. Working all day, then dancing all night and going to the airport by 5am is no easy task. Willingly, without complaining. Then not just doing the airport pick up and drop off, you guys helped with setting up & setting down the sound system and lighting. Thanks to the DJ Michael, for being in charge of the Lighting & Sound. Your expertise is unmatched. Not jus the sound system but the artwork, the banner designer, flyers e.t.c. You know you are the BOSSA!!!! One of the few people that has no problem telling me like it is. And of course DJing, this here is my partner in crime. The DJs.... what can I say DJ Vasco Diouf- hands down the best Kizomba|Zouk|Kompa|Semba|Afro Dj in the DC MD VA area!!!!! And one of the easiest DJs to work with. No stress!! Thanks for hooking us up with a place for the Official Pre-Party!!! And holding it down on the decks like no one does. DJ EFX from Houston Tx (Eric Fitzgerald). Kizomba in the USA, watch out for this guy!! Rising, you may not know him but I tell you, pay attention!!! He is the truth!!!! Awesome music, great guy all around. Thanks for accepting to play at @Sawa Sawa. Last but definitely not the least, The lovely ladies Zahiyah Hines, Lauren, Lisa, Louise, Karla taking care of the busiest part of teh whole event, the registration desk!!! I have no idea how you guys managed to make it look easy, welcoming guests, I need to learn how to build that rapport. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! what would I do without yall?!!? Not just making sure the instructors had food to eat (Thanks Kevin & Sami) for helping out on this too. Im blessed to know yall. I love yall. End of Part 1
