TAKE A STEP OF FAITH I And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. 1 Samuel 32:48 Yesterday we saw that when you truly know your God, you will be able to stand against the vicissitudes of this life and come out victorious. David knew he had a covenant with God and because of what David knew, he was able to confront and bring down Goliath. Though Goliath was much bigger, and much more experienced in the art of warfare having been a man of war from his youth and David was only a youth, the scriptures tell us that when it was time for the battle, David ran towards him. Put on your imagination; David ran towards the same threat the others were running away from. That is the mystery of confronting your challenges. When David ran towards Goliath, God simply took over. That is the same thing that happens every time you take a step of faith. God magnifies your little effort and He gives you amazing results. If a little stone could bring down Goliath, then I make bold to declare to you that every day of this year, every little effort you make will produce supernatural results in Jesus name. That is why Apostle Paul refused to be daunted or slowed down by the problems and hardships he had to contend with in his ministry. Listen to what he said in 2 Corinthians 4:810. He said we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; .... Child of God, I come to challenge you to refuse to give in or give up because victory is certain for you. God has promised He will never leave you nor forsake you so that you may boldly say that He, the Lord is your helper and you will not fear what man shall do unto you. As you step out in faith, God will magnify your little effort. You will testify in Jesus name.
