TAKE YOUR RIGHTFUL POSITION For the LORD your God will bless you, - TopicsExpress

TAKE YOUR RIGHTFUL POSITION For the LORD your God will bless you, as he promised you, and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you. Deuteronomy 15:6 In the world there are two categories of people, and they are the lenders and the borrowers and each time you read about any of these, you’ll discover the bible always sees God’s children as the lenders. You’ll read when you lend to the poor (vs.6), you shall lend to many nations (Deut. 15:6), lend to your enemies (Luke 6:34) etc. God only instructs His own, therefore that God is telling His own on how to lend means borrowing is not consistent with being a child of God, lending is. The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender. Proverbs 22:7 People borrow to supplement what they have with the hope of paying back but I tell you, borrowing takes away the freedom the Lord wants for you. God do not want us to be slaves again, He sent His son to set us free from every form of slavery and we cannot enjoy freedom until we’ve taken our rightful place financially. Don’t place your hands where it can’t reach because it leads to borrowing. Don’t desire whatsoever the Lord has not given to you seeing that when you do, you subject yourself into bondage. For example, if you are a low income earner and desire every latest in town, you’ll sure borrow and remain in bondage or you want your children to attend the costliest school so that you’ll boast with it, you’ll forever be a slave. We are rich, and rich men do not borrow, rather they lend. If you’ve borrowed anything from any man, make it your number one priority to pay back even if it means staying hungry to do so. Live within your means while trusting God to improve your means. Godliness with contentment is a great gain. To take your rightful place, stop borrowing and start paying back all that you’ve borrowed and start lending no matter how small; lend half today, tomorrow lend one, next tomorrow lend two and before you know it, you’ll begin to lend to nations. From today I declare that you are a Lender and not a Borrower in Jesus name. Pastor Promise Ikpe Share the word
