TARABA POLITICAL SAGA! Imposing Suntai Aqainst Taraba’s Interest -- Group; A group, the Save Democracy Group, has urged all parties in the Taraba State leadership tussle to bury the hatchet in the interest of the state saying the insistence of some that Danbaba Suntai should resume in office was not in the interest of the state. The group also said the acting governor should be given all the necessary support and encouragement to lead aright while praying for Suntai’s speedy recovery. Speaking in Abuja during a press briefing, the group’s convener Solomon Adodo said attempt to impose Suntai on the people despite his failing health condition will not do anybody any good. He said, “The drums of discord playing in the Taraba State government house since the recent return of the ailing Danbaba Suntai has become an accustomed sound to our polity. However that these drummers of discord and political paralysis will assume such frenzied and feverish pitch is what we must frown at and make all efforts to halt in the interest of our democratic advancement. “It is most saddening to find at play the continued hands of the political hangers-on who are desperately hell bent to cling to the fading straws of power by seeking to impose Danbaba Suntai in the Taraba State Government House so they can hatch their veiled attempt to govern Taraba State by proxy. “The recent move by a fourth column group to move to court to seek interpretation to an issue now resolved and rested only goes to a great extent to buttress the desperation of these Suntai handlers,” he said. ------------------------------------------ Follow Us On Twitter @Taraba_In_Focus
