TATTOO . I once preached against tattoo as devilish and sin - TopicsExpress

TATTOO . I once preached against tattoo as devilish and sin against God. I was acting according to Leviticus 19:28, which reads, “You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks (tattoo) on you: I am the LORD” (Leviticus 19:28). However, the Lord taught me how to do what I see Him doing in the present, not just doing what was said in the past. Jesus did not just do as was said in the law, but did what He saw His father doing examples include in the matter of Sabbath; that was how He fulfilled the law (John 5:19-20). Therefore, let us mature into seeking Christ in the scriptures and in the Spirit, to see what He is doing in the present, and to do what we see Him do. This shows we are looking at Him, not just looking at what people said about Him. . In this update, I am interested in showing you what the Lord is doing with tattoo on people, not just what was said about tattoo in Moses. And to show you what the Lord is doing with tattoo, I must separate two kinds of tattoos or marks that could either be on a body. 1. The devilish tattoo 2. The godly or holy tattoo . For purpose of this update only, I define ‘Tattoo’ as the printed mark on a man’s body. Some people print those marks by using sharp objects or hot objects to form a scar on the face or other part of the body (usually as traditional mark or as family identification mark or as protection mark). Others print those marks by insertion of coloured substance or ink under the skin to form a permanent image or lettering on the surface of the skin (usually as a cosmetic or as cultic identification mark). When the insertion is done with needle using a solenoid, it is referred to as ‘piercing.’ . From this description, what then exactly makes tattoo either devilish or holy? {A.} Is it because tattoo is a mark on the body, that makes it devilish or holy? No, it is not. Sometimes, people use pen or ink to write or mark on their skin especially during census. {B.} Is it because a tattoo is done through piercing into the skin with sharp objects, that makes it devilish or holy? No, it is not. Sometimes people are pierced with injection syringes and substances are deposited into their body through sharp objects. {C.} Is it because a tattoo leaves a permanent mark on one’s body? No, it is not. Wounds and injuries sometimes leave permanent scars on people’s body. {D.} Is it because those with tattoo are not eligible to donate blood to other people within twelve months to avoid contaminated blood due to the substance used in marking their skins? No, it is not. People can get contaminated blood from other sources as well. . What then makes tattoo either devilish or holy? To answer to this question let me derive words from one of the questions Jesus asked the people in Jerusalem: “Whose image and superscription is on this?” (Matthew 22:20). Image, inscription, superscription and name are what make a tattoo either devilish or holy. 1. It was because Caesar’s image and superscription was on that coin that made the coin Caesar’s coin (Matthew 22:19-21). 2. It shall be because the image of the beast or the mark of the beast or the name of the beast or the number of his name (666) is used as tattoo on the body of a man, that makes that man belong to the beast or to the devil permanently forever (Revelation 13:16-18). 3. It is because the name, the seal and the mark of the Father was tattooed on the forehead of the 144,000 thousand, that was the reason they belonged to God forever (Revelation 7:2-4, “14:1). . Devil’s Tattoo “Every man from the beginning of ages to the end, whose name is not found in the book of life, must have the name (mark) of the beast tattooed on his or her forehead in the everlasting destruction” (Revelation 13:8, “17:8). Therefore, a man’s name not found in the book of life on that day is synonymous to a man receiving the mark (name) of the beast in any day. Thus, (Revelation 14:9-11) = equals = (Revelation 20:15) . God’s Tattoo “Every man from the beginning of ages to the end and in everlasting life and beyond, whose name is written in the book of life must also have the name of God tattooed on his or her forehead” (Revelation 22:4). Therefore, after our names are confirmed in the book of life in the final day, God shall tattoo on our heads each. . DEVILISH TATTOO I warn those who tattoo the image of any bird, insect, reptiles, fishes, any animal, any creeping thing, image of any angel, any star, any zodiac sign, image of any man dead or alive, even image of a dead man hanging on a cross, image of any man or woman or image of any creature of God, on their bodies. Whatever image you tattoo on your body is what or who you worship; and whatever you inscribe on your body or whatever lettering you tattoo on your skin is what you believe most. To know this, worshipping the beast is equal to receiving the mark of the beast (666). Receiving the tattoo of a beast on your skin is synonymous to worshipping the beast. This is generally true for all images on one’s skin. No man, who has an image of any created thing as a tattoo or as a mark on his or her body, shall enter the kingdom of God. A man is doomed to destruction by bearing an unholy image as tattoo on his body. Leviticus 19:28 applies in this one. However, you now have time to erase whatever tattoo of beast, animal or creatures on your body before you die or before the main beasts come up to claim every beast of the earth. Therefore, remove all the tattoo or mark of a beast, mark of a man or any other creature that is in your body before it is too late. Again, receiving the mark (tattoo) of the beast is synonymous to worshipping the beast or bowing down to its image, and vice versa (Revelation 14:9-11). . HOLY TATTOO If you want to tattoo your body, write only the name of God, the name of the LORD or write the words of Jesus Christ, the Word of God. This truth is applicable to even hearing or singing worldly musics, because the lyrics or words of the music and the images are the superscriptions that overwrite all about the music. The word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit, sanctifies all music as lyrics just as it sanctifies the body by the washing of the word (Ephesians 5:26). . God tattoos on people’s body also, and the first person to receive God’s tattoo, which made him untouchable to every man was Cain (Genesis 4:15). After that, He placed the mark of circumcision on the foreskins of the male people under the old Covenant. Angels were not even permitted to harm those whom God has placed tattoo on (Ezekiel 9:3-11). . God is already tattooing on people’s heart by writing in their heart His eternal gospel, using the Holy Spirit as the Finger of God to write (tattoo) in our fleshy heart (2 Corinthians 3:3). In the New Covenant, God writes His law and His words in our heart and mind, and that is an everlasting tattoo that can never be erased forever (Hebrews 8:10-12). As it is written, “From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus” (Galatians 6:17). If you bear His name and His word in your heart, there is no harm in bearing the same on your body. . Besides tattooing His words in our hearts and mind through the Spirit, God also tattoos on our glorified (immortal, incorruptible) body by writing His Father’s name, His name and the name of His City, the New Jerusalem on that eternal body of overcomers in Christ: And that tattoo on the glorified body shall be forever in eternity. As it is written, “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.” (Revelation 3:12) . Jesus has a tattoo on His own body in glory, at His thigh precisely. The name He has on His clothing is the same name He has on His thigh. As it is written, “And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:16). . You must therefore, differentiate both.
