#TBT. My sweet Heidi. My first GSP. She was my trial by fire intro to the breed. I always said if I had survived Heidi, I could survive anything a foster threw at me. When we built our house, many things were designed with Heidi in mind. Large low windows, perfect for bird watching were a must have item. I referred to it as Heidis House She only lived here for two years before passing away, Oct 1, 2010. But in true Heidi fashion, she made the most of her time here. Her favorite spot was in the corner chair, staring out the window, overseeing her mountain top kingdom. And second to that was riding in the heavy equipment with Dennis, during construction. She would smile from ear to ear. I miss her so...❤️
