TCM has A Dogs Life on their WATCH NOW until December 1st. So you can catch it during the Thanksgiving holiday. Now, for those who did watched it on TCM, and/or can watch it online this week at their site, take a good listen to that soundtrack on the Janus version of A Dogs Life. I notice it on TV last night, just how weak, and fading in and out it was. At points, it nearly dropped out. Even with the sound up, the soundtrack was so weak and wavy, it was getting like watching a silent film in parts. Never remembering it sounding that way before, I listened to TCMs online version today, and it is sounds the same weak version, as on TV. SO, I found this earlier version from over 10 years ago, and yes, the soundtrack was 100 times better in the earlier releases. Always loved the film scores on these, so really sad to see them falling below what has been released before.
