TCs v Auckland Uni - Preview After a week of no training, the TCs will face the Auckland University Rangers at Colin Maiden Park tomorrow. Captain Roshan Mehta is slightly worried about who the opposition is, as the name Rangers is strikingly similar to the name Raiders - a team of chutias that the TCs have hated since 2009. That aside, the unavailability of players due to injury and other commitments also plays on the captains mind. Chetan Solanki is most likely out until the end of the year while the others are being rested with slight niggles. Mehul Contractor will get another go with the ball while David Dsouza makes his TCs debut. The good news is that the opening combination in both the batting and bowling departments remains intact. Sunjiv Mehta and Sanjay Mehta will be looking to put on a big opening partnership in the hope to get the TCs off to a positive start. Usman Ahmad and Hrushi Desai will look to back each other up with the ball. Desai can afford to play the supporting role while Ahmad continues to pick up wickets at regular interviews. Vice captain had this to say during this mornings press conference. We have been hit hard with injury but I like the way the team is looking. It will be a good challenge for us to get a few wins under our belt without or usual players. TCs (probably): 1. Sanjay Mehta, 2. Sunjiv Mehta, 3. Ritesh Bisoi, 4. Ritesh Chhita, 5. Murray Merai, 6. Roshan Mehta, 7. Shaneel Naidu, 8. Hrushi Desai, 9. Usman Ahmad, 10. David Dsouza, 11. Mehul Contractor
