TEACHING DELIVERED THROUGH FRANCES MARIE KLUG ON MARCH 11, 1988 TRUST “So many times we put great emphasis on trust, in our relationships with our family, our friends, some people with whom we work, banking institutions, doctors, lawyers, teachers, and people we deal with in various areas of life. Trust is important because in it we feel the security of commitment, honesty, dependence, and truth. Trust is important in and to our Spiritual beliefs, understanding the goals. Trust in God is innate in most people, but sometimes there is a different understanding regarding the terminology in how God is expressed in different cultures, different religions, different beliefs. As Roman Catholics, our Christian structure is based on God’s Ten Commandments, and the Birth, the Teachings, the Death and the Ascension of Jesus Christ. As Roman Catholics, through the tradition handed down through time, even though much of the tradition has been altered, even watered down, the strength of its beginning, the power in the purpose of Christianity remains solid in its existence, and gives strength to the foundation of the True Existence of God, and the Purpose for which we are all born. Without Trust in this sound Christian structure, we could get lost in the confusion of misinformed, misguided, self-made critics and counselors. Our trust should be well-protected in every area by our ensuring its rightful place, through our sense of logic, our questioning areas that do not have solid background, or we do not understand thoroughly. Trust is a precious item that can be easily abused by those who are unethical in theory, hypocritical in their example and practices, deceitful, placaters, immoral in thoughts, words, actions and intentions, or even through people who can be considered as leeches on another person’s knowledge or monetary holdings.”
