TEAM UNITY CONCLUDES SUCCESSFUL VISIT WITH THE NDP IN ST VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES ---------------------------------------------------------- Kingstown, St.Vincent and Grenadines, (March 13, 2014):- Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris Political Leader of Team Unity and his colleagues Deputy Leader Hon. Shawn Richards and Craig Tuckett concluded their visit to the New Democratic Party in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines yesterday. Dr Harris, appearing for the final time on the NDP sponsored New Times Programme thanked the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and singled out for praise the leader of the NDP, the Hon. Arnhim Eustace who was lauded for his “courageous and visionary leadership.” During their visit, Dr. Harris conducted local radio and television interviews, spoke with the Young Democrat Executive and regional media. The visitors to our shores also staged an historic joint Team Unity -NDP press conference and picket at the Greenhouse, located near to the Buccama Bay Resort, site of the 25th Intercessional Heads of Government of Caricom Meeting. The Hon. Arnhim Eustace indicated that the NDP will continue to speak out about and monitor the St. Kitts Nevis situation saying that it is important and impacts not only on Parliamentary Democracy and its process and practice in St. Kitts Nevis but impacts on the Democracy of the Region in its entirety. Dr. Harris and his colleagues returned to St. Kitts and Nevis on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. End./
