TECH - Lenovo refreshes, re-energises its X-factor The series that was originally designed, developed and sold by IBM is now back, refreshed and re-energised by Lenovo for tech-savvy consumers. ThinkPads, known for its minimalist, black design have been given the top of the line hardware to cater to the needs of more users. The new ThinkPad X1 Carbon, though sticking to its minimum design packs quite a punch and that includes its price factor. The new ThinkPad line boasts to be the world’s lightest 14-inch Ultrabook at less than 2kg, but still delivers when it comes to the goods whether it is the non-touch 1,600x900 screen or the multi-touch 2,560x1,440 panel. This machine has gone through stringent, military-like testing so that it can promise durability following its body that was forged from Carbon Fiber, which weighs less than magnesium and aluminum but is stronger than both.
