TECH CITY — Google Is Moving Into Another New York Building, by WSJs Eliot Brown: “Google Inc. is moving into another of Manhattan’s former industrial buildings. The... company recently signed a lease for 180,000 square feet at 85 10th Ave., a former Nabisco cookie factory by the High Line, according to Vornado Realty Trust , one of the building’s landlords. The deal gives Google a presence in a three-block expanse in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood between Eighth Avenue and the West Side Highway and 15th and 16th streets… In all, Google now leases or occupies more than 900,000 square feet in the city, where it established its first outpost in 2000.”
