TELCOS AND NCA: Why is 2G or 3G license more expensive than 4G license in Ghana? Why are the Telcos not given the same opportunity to also acquire the 4G license since they already the lesser generation and have deployed them? The Telcos need capacity now. The 4G Telcos will not survive in this market for long. In a country of only 25m people, what do we need 10 Telco operators for? It does make business, commercial, or policy sense? Internet usage is powered by content, especially local ones. How much content have we created or are creating as a country? Why is NCA not spending the plenty money they collect on growing the tech industry?
