TEN YEARS LIVING OUTSIDE!!! We wish we knew about little Tammy sooner. This beautiful little Cocker Spaniel has lived her whole life outside in the bitter cold and scorching heat. This poor little girl was never spayed, vetted and clearly not well groomed. Her real name is in Spanish and is a long one, so we shortened it to Tammy. At the thought of another hot summer ahead, the newest neighbor, who was shocked about her conditions couldnt take it anymore and called Guardians of Rescue. She approached the owners who gladly gave little Tammy up. So she took a train ride out to Port Jefferson on the L.I.R.R. with her kind neighbor who met Guardian Frankie at the station. Little Tammy is now at Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and will be vetted and groomed and available for adoption. This is a perfect example of If you see something...DO SOMETHING!
