TESTIMONIAL BY GRE LEARNER BABU PRASAD Dear Sir, Please find my testimonial for you. I had written what I felt in my heart. And I’m sorry for the delay as got held up in my office and personal work even during weekend. TESTIMONIAL I am very lucky enough to attend classes of Mr.Sai Sundar, my quants tutor in Manhattan Review, Bangalore. He is one of the awesome person whom I have ever met. He was not only an instructor who ameliorated our quantitative aptitude but also a philosopher, friend who guided us during our tough times. Hes known for his long lectures and talks on various range of topics in his soft spoken voice. At the time I planned to take up my GRE, I had a fear in my mind whether I could crack the exam amidst my tight work schedule. My fear started amplifying more when I saw people answering questions eagerly whereas I was sitting quietly during my initial GRE classes. It was Sundar sir who broke the fear out of me when he pointed me for an answer. Even though I was not able to do mental calculations so fast as others did, I had explained the concept to solve that problem. He appreciated me for the logic I used and said I could cope up with my calculations. I still remember the day when he called me personally after the classes and enquired about my MS plans. I was very weak at my Verbal and I had to put all my effort on quants as that was my scoring area. He was the one who motivated my self confidence that I could do better at my quants section. I would have not attained a score of 163 in quants without his coaching and continuous encouragement. The best thing in Sundar sir which I like most is that he always sticks to an easy and simple logic to solve any kind of questions irrespective of its difficulty level. And he is lightning fast in his mathematical calculations to arrive at an answer. By the time we realize what is happening and how he is trying to solve the problem, he would have finished it with such an easy solution. It was he, who introduced the tables of fractions and decimals along with percentages that has to be mugged up which helped us a lot in doing faster calculations. Also when we had a problem with our verbal classes due to non availability of instructors, he helped us by letting us to attend his colleagues classes when he was on a visit to Bangalore from Hyderabad. He also went one step beyond to teach during couple of night outs in one of our friends house. He is much closer to me than just having an instructor-student relationship. We, a set of students used to hang out with Sai sir after weekend classes and went around the Bangalore city. We used to roam around Lalbagh, Vidhana Soudha and even visited ISKCON Temple once. I still remember many of my moments where we have listened to his energetic lectures on philosophy, politics, history and many more. For my birthday he gifted a book of Vivekananda - His Call to The Nation to insist more on rational thinking. I miss those joyous moments in our GRE class which has brought more happiness and meaning to my life. I know for sure that Sundar sir will always spread his knowledge and energy to his forthcoming students and make them successful in their lives. I wish him all the very best for his future endeavors.
