A true multi-tasking guru, Karen has spent the past nineteen years balancing a heavy workload and fulltime job with a healthy family life and new business venture. By trade, Karen has spent much of her career as a registered nurse and as a certified infant care specialist. During her time off as a nurse, she has spent most of her free hours developing a new product, the Woombie Baby, and, in turn, has started her own business! I must note that while all of this was going on, she and her husband were also raising five children. How was she able to balance all of this successfully? It was all about learning from each role and applying those skill sets to other ambitions. The nurse in Karen wanted to help others; the mother wanted to do what is best for her children and family; the wife wanted to be the best partner to her spouse; the entrepreneur wanted to create a product and develop it into something great; and the business owner now wants to maintain the success and happiness she has come to find so far with her new career.
