TGIF, looking forward to the weekend. Today, a long time friend told me he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and there is a good chance he will not be with us much longer. The news has made think about my own life. We will all face our mortality sooner or later but we really need to enjoy the time we have with those we love. Therefore, instead of cranking my spreadsheets i am going to go see my little girl play volley ball. After the game i am taking both kids to eat. That is not to say i would not done this if i had not received the bad news but i would have been thinking of work and all the upcoming things related to work. Instead, work will get pushed back and i will commit 100% to the event and the those around me.
